Somehow every holiday seems to creep up on me these days. I find myself scrambling at the final hour to get everything together and act like I’ve had a plan all along. Maybe that’s just me. But, in case I’m not the only one, I thought I would share a list of ideas for toddler Easter baskets.Bubbles
I purchased Easter egg chalk at Walmart for $4.99 and then proceeded to find similar chalk at Dollar Tree for only $1. Needless to say, Quinn doesn’t care about brand, but I do care about saving money, so I was thrilled!
Use the code BLINK to get 10% off of your sunglasses order. They recently added size 2-4year, so make sure to take advantage of these indestructible sunglasses. Roshambo is so confident in their product they they will replace them if your sunglasses ever get damaged. I just ordered Quinn a pair and am already wanting to order a matching pair of my own!
Traditional Easter baskets that are reused year after year are so special and can often be passed down from one generation to the next. On the other hand, I am all about making the “basket” a part of the gift. Here are some fun spins on the traditional Easter basket:
Fill an art caddy with supplies for your mini-picasso. Not only does it look cute, but it provides a simple way to organize the supplies while making them easy to transport from room to room.
If your little one is in need of the their very own umbrella, then you’ve also conveniently found the perfect Easter “basket”. You can open the umbrella up, set it upside down and fill it with some of the goodies listed above.
Where to look
- Dollar Tree/ Dollar General
- Target- Bullseye’s Spot at (formerly the “dollar bins”)
Wherever you shop and whatever goodies you fill your toddler’s Easter basket with, I pray that your Easter celebrations are about so much more than just these gifts. I hope that your Easter is more about time with family, reflecting on the immensity and the power of Jesus’ death and resurrection!
Happy Easter from my family to yours!
