Here are some things that I am loving these days! My hope is to do this monthly in order to share products that I am loving for myself and or my family. Enjoy!
She Reads Truth Bible– This was Ryan’s Mother’s Day gift to me, which was made even more special by the fact that it was also gifted to me on the day that Quinn was dedicated. This Bible was created with women in mind, from it’s artfully designed pages to the wonderful timelines and helpful reading guide. This Bible comes in various colors and bindings but I am a big fan of the brown genuine leather, because let’s be honest, it’s timeless. Click for more information or click to buy.
I love using these highlighters specifically made to prevent bleeding through the thin pages of your Bible!
Be Still, My Soul: 90-Day Bible Study Coloring Journal– My sister-in-law gifted me this journal, also for Mother’s Day. It is
the perfect compliment to my new SRT Bible! If you’re looking for a simple way to organize your thoughts and your quiet times as you read the Bible, this is an awesome way to do so! Whether you chose to color it or not is of course up to you!
G2 Crowd. I earned $50 in Amazon credit just for filling out reviews. Props to my sister for passing this one along. I reviewed Prezi, WordPress.org, Skype, Expensify and Zoom, but there are over 27,000 products to chose from (everything from Pinterest to business software that I’ve never even heard of, but perhaps you have!). You can write and read reviews on tons of software and services. For each review that you complete, you can earn a $10 gift card. You are limited to 5 reviews (but that’s $50!!!). It took me 5-10 minutes per review but thats less than an hour to complete all 5 reviews. I had to allow between 12-24 hours to get the e-mails with the Amazon redemption codes, but within 24 hours I had earned $50, all while sitting on the coach and watching TV. You may be wondering what exciting purchase I made with my newly acquired $50. Diapers and wipes. Thrilling, I know! BUT…that leads me to my next thing I’m loving this week!
Amazon Prime. If you haven’t gotten on board, stop reading and sign up to Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial now. But seriously, it’s that great. It is a LIFESAVER. As a working Mama, I’m not ashamed to say that I need all of the help I can get. Plus if you have kids, I highly recommend you sign up to Join Amazon Family 30-Day Free Trial if you don’t already have an account. Amazon Prime and Amazon Family cost the same, but Amazon family allows you to save 20% on diapers and wipes by subscribing to orders for these products. And shipping is still FREE…who doesn’t love free?! You can even change the default frequency if you don’t want them delivered monthly. Canceling or modify the delivery is super easy too! PLUS- Did you know that you can actually Shop Amazon – Give the Gift of Amazon Prime?! One of my girlfriends did this when we had Quinn and it was literally a God-send! What a fun, creative, PRACTICAL way to love on people!
This charcoal mask! Disclaimer, I am a Mary Kay consultant and therefore love Mary Kay products…that being said, this charcoal mask has quickly become a fan favorite for me as well as loads of my customers. It’s created with activated charcoal, which holds up to double it’s weight in impurities. It helps to reduce shine, unclog pores and deep clean your skin. Plus, it smells like a spa in a bottle (peppermint and rosemary…yum!). You apply it to the face (2-3 times a week) for 10-20 minutes and then simply WIPE away. I mean, have you seen those disgusting videos where women are actually pealing half of their skin off along with whatever mask they are trying. Pain IS NOT beauty. I put it on while watching one of our favorite shows (currently Prison Break and Designated Survivor!) and my husband, though he likely won’t admit it, joins me! It’s just as beneficial for men as it is for women!
The couple that masks together, stays together! The mask is for men too!
My planner. Let’s just say I am a bit Type A, particularly when it comes to planners. I have tried them all. I’ve paid far too much for super cute planners that let you personalize every darn page. Here is what inevitably happens: I don’t use it. I spend all of this money and it simply sits there because it’s too bulky, too much to maintain, etc. I need a planner because I don’t feel that I have enough time and want to manage the precious moment’s that I do have, so why am I trying to spend all of this time adding stickers, labels, color etc.? I’m not! This planner is simple, cheap and has been my go-to for the last few years. I find it’s super easy to jot down daily to-do lists as well. There is something so satisfying about being able to check things off a list or cross them out, wouldn’t you agree?!
I hope by sharing a few of my favorite things that I have encouraged you to try something new. Please comment and let me know what products you’re loving these days too!
